About the role

We are seeking a Wireless Network Engineer II to lead wireless and network operations for our USAF customer. The Wireless Network Engineer II will work directly with our Project Manager and end users to identify, resolve, and adopt new technologies to modernize infrastructure, streamline operations, and meet SLA’s. This is a remote/hybrid position .

What you'll bring

• Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance
• Must be able to work an 8hr day shift Monday-Friday
• Review and evaluate network design solutions
• Participate in full lifecycle development of network solutions
• Design and deploy government LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including core data center & site firewalls, routers, core & site switches, and other network hardware
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configurations/diagrams, network mapping, processes, and service records
• Meet the needs of the end users
• Communicate issues quickly and concisely to management
• Ability to function autonomously as well as lead and motivate others as needed
• Ability to interpret and analyze issues, implement solutions, and reflect on lessons learned
• Ability to simulate user problems or difficulties
• Ability to gather requirements from varying locations
