About the role
The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Project Quality Management System to ensure that all infrastructure works comply with contract requirements, approved drawings, technical specifications, authority regulations, and applicable international standards. The role oversees quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the project lifecycle, from construction through testing & commissioning, handover, and project close-out. The QA/QC Engineer works closely with the Resident Engineer, Material Engineer, Contractors, Laboratories, Authorities, and Project Team to promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and compliance. What you'll bring
- Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10–15 years of QA/QC experience on major infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, public realm, and transportation projects.
- Strong experience in construction supervision and consultancy environments.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems, ISO 9001, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and construction quality standards.
- Experience reviewing material approvals, laboratory testing, NCRs, SORs, and quality documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management systems (e.g., Asite), and quality reporting tools.
- Good understanding of FIDIC contracts and construction supervision practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality excellence.
