About the role
We are looking for a Director of Federal Tax that will serve as the leader of DDN’s consolidated tax reporting, US compliance, and planning functions. This role oversees the worldwide ASC 740 income tax provision, consolidated US federal income tax return, and key US international tax matters including GILTI, FDII, BEAT, foreign tax credits, and strategic tax planning initiatives. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role at a pivotal stage in DDN’s continued growth and evolution. As a global leader in AI, data intelligence, and high-performance computing infrastructure, DDN operates in an increasingly complex and dynamic tax environment, creating a unique platform for a tax leader to drive meaningful business impact. This is more than a compliance role. It is an opportunity to influence the future of the tax function, develop a high-performing US-based team, modernize processes, and help guide tax strategy for a rapidly growing global technology company. You’ll be joining an organization where tax is viewed as a strategic business partner, with the opportunity to combine technical excellence, leadership, and commercial thinking to create long-term value across the enterprise.
What you'll bring
- CPA and Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive tax experience.
- Significant experience within a multinational corporation.
- Deep expertise in ASC 740, consolidated return compliance, federal tax planning, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and foreign tax credits.
- Proven experience leading teams and partnering with executive stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
