About the role

Aviation Service Partners (ASP) is seeking an experienced and highly organized Aviation Materials Specialist to support our aircraft maintenance operations. The Aviation Materials Specialist is responsible for receiving, inspecting, tracking, storing, issuing, and shipping aircraft parts, materials, tooling, and supplies while maintaining accurate inventory and documentation. This position works closely with Maintenance, Planning, Production, Quality, Procurement, and other departments to ensure the right materials are available when needed to support aircraft schedules.

What you'll bring

• Previous experience in aviation materials, aircraft parts, inventory control, logistics, warehousing, procurement support, or a related field.
• Understanding of aircraft part numbers, serial numbers, and traceability documentation.
• Ability to read and understand purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, certificates, and other material documentation.
• Experience with inventory management or ERP systems.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced maintenance environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Procurement, vendors, and other departments.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules when required to support aircraft operations.
• Ability to lift and move aircraft parts, materials, boxes, and equipment as required.
