About the role
Stanbridge University is seeking clinically experienced Full-Time Faculty members to support instruction within the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program. This role is ideal for licensed Physical Therapists (PTs) or Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) who are passionate about student learning, clinical excellence, and preparing future healthcare professionals through hands-on, evidence-based instruction.
What you'll bring
- Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Physical Therapist (PT), or
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant clinical experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required for PTA applicants.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively teach and engage students in an in-person instructional environment.
- Official transcripts are required prior to hire.
- Degrees earned outside the United States must be evaluated by a recognized credential evaluation service to determine U.S. degree equivalency and applicable subject-area coursework.
- Master’s degree or higher in a related discipline.
- Previous teaching, clinical instruction, or laboratory education experience.
- Familiarity with CAPTE accreditation standards and outcomes-based education.
- Experience with simulation, active-learning strategies, or evidence-based instruction.
