The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) of Community is a key leader at Vuori, partnering with the General Manager to drive sales performance, elevate the customer experience, and develop a high-performing team. This role is centered on building meaningful customer connections while authentically representing Vuori’s brand values through strong product knowledge and a positive, engaging approach. Beyond core retail leadership, the ASM of Community is instrumental in shaping and executing community-focused initiatives that position the store as a destination for both shopping and shared experiences. By connecting with the local community and bringing the brand to life through impactful activations, this role helps drive customer loyalty, engagement, and long-term store success. Beyond community leadership, you deeply understand how systems within our business impact one another and uphold all product operations and visual merchandising SOPs and working routines. You inspire and grow high-performing teams, foster a positive and inclusive work environment, and empower your people to consistently deliver results across all of our retail priorities.
What you'll bring
- Available morning and/or evening, work 8 hour shifts, 5 days/week, available at least 1 weekend day.
- 4+ years of progressive leadership or supervisory experience, showcasing the ability to effectively lead and inspire a team towards achieving common goals.
- Proven ability to create and maintain effective communication channels with key stakeholders, including HQ partners, team members, and external partners, to drive alignment and facilitate collaboration.
- Established track record in retail sales leadership, driving sales targets through strategic planning, execution, and team motivation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, excelling in the art of coaching, motivating, and mentoring team members to consistently deliver outstanding performance.
- Comprehensive understanding of retail operations, including expertise in inventory management, visual merchandising principles, and implementation of highly effective sales techniques.
- Demonstrate exemplary leadership qualities that align with Vuori's culture, with a strong commitment to fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Commit to upholding Vuori's brand standards and values, promoting sustainability, wellness, and community engagement across all store operations.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills, with event planning and management a plus.
