About the role
: This position is responsible for leading maintenance and execution, scheduling, work management processes. This position will ensure maintenance work is planned, scheduled and executed in a manner that supports safe, reliable, compliant and cost-effective operation of generating assets. They will work to align daily maintenance activities, outage work and long-range maintenance plans with station and cooperative objectives to maintain plant reliability. This position will provide leadership for the development, coordination and continuous improvement of maintenance strategies, outage planning, work prioritization, resource planning, contractor coordination, plant reliability and related work processes.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, operations management, business administration, project management or another field relevant to power generation, maintenance or work management required.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in utility generation, industrial maintenance, power plant operations, maintenance planning, scheduling, project coordination or related work is required.
- At least three (3) years of leadership, supervisory or management experience is required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Must be able to respond in a reasonable timeframe.
- Experience with outage planning, maintenance work management, contractor coordination, budget development and use of an Enterprise Asset Management system or Computerized Maintenance Management System is strongly preferred.
- Experience in the electric cooperative industry or utility generation environment is preferred.
