About the role
The Laboratory Manager is responsible for operational oversight, performing quality assurance duties, and serving as a team leader, scheduler, and primary trainer in the Laboratory. Will oversee a variety of routine moderate to high complexity experimental tests and leads in the development of new assays and techniques. Requires a professional level of knowledge to execute and analyze test results.
What you'll bring
- Blood/Hematology or Chemistry background
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related life science.
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ laboratory experience with 3-5 years’ supervisory experience.
- A certification in one of the following is required: MT by ASCP, NCA, AMT
- MLS by ASCP
- CLS by NCA
- MB, MP, BB, C, H, or M by ASCP
- valid MT license from any state.
- Endocrinology experience preferred
- A Master degree is preferred.
