About the role

The Store Manager is responsible for sales and profitability of the store and directly supervises associates in a Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts retail store. Duties include management functions, such as purchasing, budgeting, accounting, and personnel work, in addition to supervisory duties. The Store Manager also provides over-the-counter direct sales to customers, takes orders in-person and by phone, and supports the overall success of store operations through promotion of sales programs and other customer and team-related activities.   • Maintain and submit call logs as required by the District Manager.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • at least 2 years of auto parts experience
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • A valid driver's license with good driving record (Class E license is required for Missouri locations)
