About the role
Avantor is looking for an Operator at our Aurora, OH site. The operator will be responsible for assembling mechanical units or fabricated parts into sub-assemblies or complete products during routine, repetitive assembly operations. Use various hand and power tools and operating equipment which may include jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses to cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble. Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product requirements. Monitor quality of products and raw materials. Shift: M-F - 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. What you'll bring
- Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in a chemical plant.
- Understanding/familiarity with cGMP and RCRA training.
