About the role

As a Manufacturing Software Engineer, you will support Ava MO manufacturing machining projects and processes to achieve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost objectives. Based out of Ava MO , this role is an integral part in the design, development, integration, and continuous improvement of Automation systems used in the Ava MO manufacturing processes. In addition, this position will stay abreast of industry trends by researching and developing the next generation of best-in-class automated manufacturing systems. This role is based fully onsite, and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information or Engineering field.
• Programming skills and understanding of general programming concepts such as OOP and data structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proven ability to apply creative thinking to address sophisticated problems.
• Good organizational, presentation and project management skills to interact within all levels of the company.
• Ability to manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Driven desire to continuously learn new skills and increase your knowledge of programming and networking processes.
• Motivated, dependable, and responsible team player.
• 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in networking administrations a plus.
• .NET, Ignition, Python, Rockwell Automation or related software development a plus.
• Manufacturing Automation experience a plus.
• preferably Computer/Manufacturing Engineering Technology
