About the role
Dayspring Restoration is a full-service Disaster Restoration Company is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician to join our Bozeman, MT team. As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will play a critical role in the initial response and recovery efforts following water-related damage. You’ll be responsible for assessing affected areas, removing water, setting up drying equipment, and preventing further damage to residential and commercial properties. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service during what can be a stressful time for clients. As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will play a critical role in the initial response and recovery efforts following water-related damage. What you'll bring
- 1+ year experience in water mitigation, mold remediation and fire/smoke cleanings
- 1+ year experience in carpentry
- Availability to work a rotating on-call schedule
- Available for regular overtime
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Able to lift 50 LBS
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
- IICRC Certifications are required
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and pass MVR check
