About the role
This role supports the assembly of copper bus required for electrical equipment. The overall objective of this position is to provide high quality craftsmanship when assembling copper bus and similar conductive material using best in class installation techniques in order to contribute to a team focused on achieving industry leading cycle time, delivering superior quality, and assisting in reducing per unit costs. Consistent and accurate representation of the Mission Critical Group brand, mission, vision, values, and organizational strategy are essential to achieving the goals of the organization. This position is jointly accountable to achieve targets on the following measures to help drive organizational and department success.
What you'll bring
- Required Knowledge / Experience
- 0-1 year of work experience assembling copper bus, or similar materials, into electrical control equipment in a manufacturing facility required.
- Production and Processing: Knowledge or raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Mechanical: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Tools include: screw drivers, ratchet and sockets, crimpers, wiring cutters, tape measures, ban saws, air tools, and inspection mirror.
- Active Listening: The ability to give full attention to when others speak and taking time to understand the points being made
- asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
- Verbal & Written Communication Skills: The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand and the ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
