About the role
We seek experienced, energetic senior instructors to inspire students in an after-school environment. You will be working with passionate students, using a curriculum designed specifically to propel them to create functional and meaningful software solutions. Our senior instructors provide the best possible customer service through: creating structure to ensure student success; establish meaningful relationships with your students; maintain positive interactions to inform parents of their child(ren)’s progress; and strive to support company initiatives for growth. This is your chance to make a significant impact on the trajectory of a young adult interested in computer science. This is a part-time, flexible position with the opportunity to work up to 30 hours/week. Knowledge of coding and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science &/or Mathematics (or similar degree) is required to apply! You will be required to test out of our coding curriculum before you can instruct in one of our learning centers.
What you'll bring

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Mathematics is required, but we are open to Bachelor's degrees in related fields if you're the right candidate
- Must be knowledgeable and understand various coding languages- minimum of Scratch/HTML/CSS..
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to build productive business relationships
- Must be independent and a self-starter who strives for personal and team growth
- You possess a relentless passion for Education or Computer Science and want to make a difference in children's lives
- You enjoy working with kids of all ages
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to guide others
- Ability to bring an upbeat, high energy attitude to any event
- Should be a team player and agreeable to working in a dynamic, evolving environment

- Relevant teaching experience and/or leadership skills preferred, but not mandatory
