About the role
The Pipe Welder is responsible for fitting and welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping systems used in industrial and construction projects. This position requires the ability to work safely, read and interpret drawings, and produce high-quality welds that meet applicable codes, specifications, and customer requirements. This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
What you'll bring
- Ability to pass a Loenbro welding test and applicable project weld qualifications.
- 2G,3G GMAW/FCAW minimum requirements
- Strong understanding of weld symbols and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of pipe fabrication, fit-up tolerances, and welding procedures.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to quality workmanship.
- 3+ years of industrial pipe welding experience preferred.
- 6G GTAW/SMAW helpful, not required
- Previous experience in industrial, power, semiconductor, mining, or manufacturing environments.
- Current welding certifications or documented weld qualifications.
- Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging experience
- 6G preferred
