About the role

As a Process Engineer for the Paint shop at Scout Motors, you will design, implement, and enhance paint shop processes, addressing any equipment and process challenges that arise. You will ensure overall quality by developing detailed process documentation and standards. This role involves optimizing workflow within the paint shop and coordinating with various departments to address any factors affecting paint shop operations. Residing in New York City : This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.

• Bachelor's degree in industrial/mechanical engineering or related field.
• An equivalent amount relevant work experience may considered in lieu of a degree.
• At least 2 years of technical experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in industrial automotive painting processes.
• Proficiency with paint systems, paint robotics and application equipment
• Knowledge of paint quality tools.
• Understanding industrial conveyors, paint booths, and visual paint inspection methods.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
• Experience with AutoCAD or CATIA.
