About the role

This is your opportunity to join as Legal Counsel - Privacy, working with a wide range of stakeholders to provide privacy legal advice and coordinate a variety of privacy compliance activities.

What you'll bring

• Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously).
• 4-5 PQE+ experience as a lawyer, including strong experience in the privacy space.
• Unrestricted Australian practising certificate.
• Experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Sound knowledge of recent and upcoming privacy-related reforms.
• Ability to create privacy training material.
• Ability to manage privacy-related compliance activities.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
