About the role

As part of the BigPay Engineering team, you'll build products that power real-world payment experiences, from digital wallets and payment flows to cross-border money movement and financial services. We aim to deliver a seamless experience comparable to the world's leading financial super apps, serving millions of users globally. This is a 100% remote, work-from-home opportunity.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Full Stack software development.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, HTML5 and modern frontend development.
• Solid backend development experience with Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, Go, or similar backend technologies.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Good understanding of relational databases, caching technologies and distributed system fundamentals.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development, Docker, Kubernetes or CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing and system design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a passion for building products that customers love.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced global engineering environment.
• Experience building fintech, payment, digital wallet or banking product
• Experience working with high-concurrency, high-availability systems.
