About the role

As a key member of the Enabling Technologies team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes. We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer II to join our Enabling Technologies group, with a focus on Surgical Automation and Visualization. This role will contribute to the design and development of advanced software solutions for orthopedic surgical navigation, machine interfaces, and augmented reality applications.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of professional software development experience using C# and Unity
• Experience developing software that interfaces with physical hardware systems (e.g., cameras, sensors, or tracking systems)
• Strong understanding of optical navigation systems and their application in surgical or healthcare environments
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile methodologies
• Experience with 3D visualization, real-time rendering, or game engine development
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex technical environments
• Experience in medical device software development and familiarity with FDA and ISO standards
• Experience with robotic surgical systems or navigation platforms
• Understanding of anatomy and biomechanics in orthopedic applications
• Familiarity with cloud services, web technologies, and REST APIs
• Experience working in regulated, safety-critical software environments
