About the role

As a Systems Architect, you will join our Bristol team to support our activities within the aerospace engineering sector You will lead the development of complex aircraft landing gear systems, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and certification requirements. This role involves end-to-end systems engineering ownership, including requirements management, validation, verification, and supplier coordination within a highly regulated aerospace environment.

What you'll bring

• Strong experience in systems engineering within aerospace environments
• Knowledge of aircraft systems
• Experience with requirements management, validation, and verification processes
• Familiarity with tools such as IBM DOORS (Classic or NG)
• Understanding of airworthiness and certification requirements
• Ability to review and produce technical documentation and engineering reports
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or  equivalent   military experience.
• Extensive experience in systems engineering (including mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems)
• Familiarity with ARP4754 and ARP4761 standards
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Previous engineering signatory or approval experience
