About the role
Join Our Team at Avita Health System – Avita Bucyrus Hospital Under supervision of the Laboratory Director or designee, maintains laboratory equipment as necessary, assists in clerical duties of the department, assists technicians and technologists as needed, and is responsible for phlebotomy procedures and processing of other specimens. Additionally, laboratory assistants perform CLIA-waived testing while producing quality results.
What you'll bring
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current BLS certification.
- At least two (2) years of full time experience in a hospital laboratory setting with phlebotomy experience.
- Adheres to regulatory requirements including all State, Federal and the accrediting body regulations.
- Previous experience working as a Phlebotomist.
- Graduate of a Certified Phlebotomy program.
- Phlebotomy certification.
