About the role

The Financial Controller serves as a leader, subject matter expert, and teammate on all corporate financial matters. This includes reporting, costing, analysis, intercompany analysis, and some audit responsibilities. What you'll bring

• Strong integrity and work ethic are critical.
• 8-10+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibility.
• 3+ years’ experience managing a team.
• B2B in construction/engineering or service environment, with some job costing experience.
• Experience with construction ERP software
• Proficient in Office 365, with intermediate Excel skills
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent, a Master’s degree desirable.
• Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation.
• Commitment to excellence in customer service.
• Display effective interpersonal skills with all levels of employees both within and outside of the accounting team.
• Experience in process improvement.
• Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize accordingly and switch between tasks frequently.
