About the role
The Therapy Supervisor will be a self-motivated, results-oriented and compassionate professional, who is responsible for managing the delivery of WCHC counseling services under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Director (BH Director). The Therapy Supervisor will assist the BH Director in evaluating quality outcomes, clinical productivity and patient satisfaction feedback. The Therapy Supervisor may be called upon to act as a representative of the WCHC therapists at internal and external meetings. The Therapy Supervisor will provide direct care to WCHC patients, evaluating psychosocial conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and monitoring and evaluating treatment results. The Therapy Supervisor will provide direction for recruitment, onboarding, and clinical supervision for those in training seeking clinical supervision toward their therapy certification, such as Clinical Interns. The Therapy Supervisor will manage staff performance and evaluations, including coaching, supervising, and disciplinary actions. Also, will make recommendations for commendations and termination. The Therapy Supervisor monitors treatment plan delivery compliance, ensuring that providers deliver services in type and quantity consistent with the treatment plan.
What you'll bring
- Master’s degree in a mental health discipline required
- Maintains current unrestricted, independent professional license
- Maintains certification with the MD State Board to provide oversight for graduate SW students
- Maintains Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (AHA- BLS/Provider)
- Complies with the required license Continuing Education requirements
- A minimum of three (3) years&rsquo
- experience working in behavioral health
- Past supervisory/leadership experience
- Public Health or Community/Rural Health Center experience
- Facilitate regular team meetings.
- Summarize high-level concerns and recommend options for improvement.
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to prepare internal and external correspondence and reports, and be able to summarize data from the electronic medical records system.
