About the role
This role is designed for a lawyer with a strong restructuring foundation who is deeply engaged with how AI, technology, and new ways of working are reshaping legal practice and will continue to transform legal practice in the years to come. This role reports to the Sr. Director & Counsel of Knowledge & AI.
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated passion for AI and emerging technology, including a strong perspective on how such tools can be applied to restructuring legal practice and workflows.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, technologists, and administrative professionals.
- Strong initiative and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgment in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Creative and strategic thinker who is open to experimentation, iteration, and multiple approaches to complex problems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently.
- Commitment to knowledge-sharing, efficiency, and excellence in legal work, with a focus on client service and business impact.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across practice groups and departments.
- A J.D., Bachelor of Laws, or equivalent with strong academic credentials
- must be admitted to practice and in good standing in the state where they will be based.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in restructuring legal practice
- other relevant backgrounds will be considered on a case by case basis.
