About the role
We are seeking a passionate and mission-driven Arabic Teacher to join our school community, serving students from Kindergarten through 7th grade. This role is centered on teaching Arabic as a means to understand and connect with the Qur’an, rather than as a standalone language subject.
What you'll bring
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Strong understanding of Arabic grammar at an intermediate level or higher
- Ability to connect Arabic instruction directly to Qur’anic understanding and vocabulary
- Ability to explain concepts in a clear, engaging, and student-friendly way
- Experience working with children
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction for a wide range of learning levels
- Creative, energetic, and passionate about teaching
- Background in Arabic, Islamic Studies, Education, or related field
- Experience teaching in an Islamic school environment
- Familiarity with Qur’anic vocabulary teaching methods or tafsir-based approaches for children
- Strong belief in teaching Arabic as a tool to understand the Qur’an
