We support professional development with student loan repayment assistance for licensed behavioral health professionals and opportunities for ongoing training. As a Substance Use Counselor at Prairie Ridge Integrated Behavioral Healthcare, you will provide comprehensive outpatient behavioral health services to individuals, families, and groups. Your work will include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions. What you'll bring
- Bachelor's Degree in health-related field required for treatment of substance use and gambling disorders.
- For clinicians treating individuals
- ability to complete certification or license within 1 year of employment considered.
- Understanding of the mission of Prairie Ridge and the patients we work with.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills, as well as record keeping.
- Technology skills allowing for proficiency in use of electronic health record.
- a primary substance use disorder diagnosis, an Iowa Substance Abuse Counselor Certificate or license preferred
