About the role

We support professional development with student loan repayment assistance for licensed behavioral health professionals and opportunities for ongoing training. As a Substance Use Counselor at Prairie Ridge Integrated Behavioral Healthcare, you will provide comprehensive outpatient behavioral health services to individuals, families, and groups. What you'll bring

• Bachelor's Degree in health-related field required for treatment of substance use and gambling disorders.
• For clinicians treating individuals
• ability to complete certification or license within 1 year of employment considered.
• Understanding of the mission of Prairie Ridge and the patients we work with.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication skills, as well as record keeping.
• Technology skills allowing for proficiency in use of electronic health record.
• a primary substance use disorder diagnosis, an Iowa Substance Abuse Counselor Certificate or license preferred
