About the role

A Morton Thomas & Associates, Inc. (AMT, Inc.) is hiring Transportation Construction Inspectors to support projects throughout the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) District 5 (Anne Arundel, Calvert, St. Mary’s, and Charles counties). What you'll bring

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable means of transportation to travel to, from and on the project site
• Fluent in spoken and written English language
• Have at least a year of experience in inspection of highways/bridges/traffic systems.
• Prior experience with SHA
• MDE Responsible Person Certification Card
• SHA Erosion and Sediment Control (Yellow Card)
• MD Temporary Traffic Control Manager
• MARTCP Concrete/HMA/Soils & Aggregates
• OSHA 10 Hour Training
• Previous experience with SHA's Maryland Construction Management System (MCMS) or e-MCMS documentation
