About the role

This position will support a variety Dam Safety Engineering projects across the East Region with a focus on the Northeast. The successful candidate will join the ENR consistently ranked #1 Dams and Reservoirs firm and have access to exciting career advancement opportunities. This position will report to one of the AECOM offices in the Northeast Region including but not limited to Buffalo, New York; Conshohocken, Pennsylvania; Chelmsford, Massachusetts; and Rocky Hill Connecticut. What you'll bring

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with demonstrated coursework in Geotechnical Engineering+ 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer in at least one state with the ability to successfully apply for reciprocity in additional states.
  • Relevant experience with dams projects, including rehabilitation and/or new design and construction.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License and as a condition of employment, must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • 15 years of experience in Dams Engineering and/or Civil / Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Ability to complete the Managing AECOM Projects training and receive the AECOM Project Manager certification.
