About the role

Positioned as the primary technical support interface between the customer and factory, the Applications Engineer (AE) is responsible for absorbing the technical details associated with products and articulating them to the customer base at large. The Applications Engineer communicates these technical details in the form of evaluation boards, design/software examples, and technical literature such as datasheets, user's manuals, applications notes, white papers, product advisories and product errata. In addition to technical literature, the Applications Engineer provides real-time answers to customer questions received via phone or e-mail, and periodically delivers technical training to customers, sales teams, and Field Applications Engineers (FAEs) in person and via the internet. The result is an accessible, centralized, point of technical expertise for each product or solution offered to COMPANY's customers. As the responsible Applications Engineer for these products, you will interface with customers as well as our Field Applications Engineers and sales teams to facilitate pre-sales activity and ensure the successful launch of the new products.
