The P&C Insurance Marketing team is a key growth driver for USAA, dedicated to advancing our mission of serving the military community and their families. We create data-driven marketing strategies and campaigns that reflect our brand, differentiate our products, and drive member acquisition and business growth. As a Product Marketing Lead supporting the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance business, you will work closely with business stakeholders and across Marketing functions to drive desired business results and outcomes for USAA’s core P&C products (Auto, Homeowners and Renters). You will be responsible for understanding business performance insights and translating them into actionable marketing activities at both national and regional levels. You will leverage data, competitive insights, and performance analytics to inform decision-making and storytelling to gain alignment across peers for key marketing initiatives. We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Tampa, FL, or Chesapeake, VA.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree
- OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
- 8 years of relevant work experience in financial services with hands-on experience in conversion channels (i.e.: Paid Search, Affiliates, Direct Mail).
- Extensive experience in collaborating with key partners and stakeholders, influencing decisions, and managing work to achieve strategic goals.
- Strong business acumen in the areas of business operations, industry practices and emerging trends.
- Ability to seek and analyze data from variety of resources to support marketing decisions and alignment with key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Product Marketing, including providing input into growth objectives, developing marketing plans, performance reporting, and driving incremental growth consumer definition, situation assessment, financial analysis, and marketing strategy.
- Understanding of specific laws and rules that govern consumer products.
- Demonstrated proficiency with marketing data analytics, including the ability to analyze and evaluate information.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to adjust communication style based on the audiences.
- Ability to exercise appropriate judgment by using information and knowledge to make timely, effective decisions.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
