About the role

Warner Electric is looking for our next Team Leader to lead our Material Handler group for our 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm) operations. Our Team Leaders have a direct impact on our safety, culture, workplace organization, internal and external quality, on-time delivery, productivity and inventory. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be team oriented; operate industrial trucks (sit and stand), hoists, tuggers and pallet jacks; develop, implement, and maintain improvement initiatives and must have the ability and willingness to train others.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous leadership and manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, TPS, 6 Sigma, or similar improvement methods
  • Carrying – Frequent up to 50# distance up to 10 feet
  • Lifting – 0” to 33” – Frequent up to 50#
