About the role
Position Overview Woolpert is hiring a Project Engineer/Task Leader to join our dynamic Water Team in South Carolina. This position is primarily responsible for assisting with technical delivery on projects as well as the budgeting, planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting for specific project phase(s) and/or task(s). This position is key in establishing and improving levels of team technical competence, quality, and efficiency. This position will be part of a team engaging clients across the water markets in support of client objectives in the areas of Data Analytics, Asset Management, Organizational Performance, Permit Compliance, Process Improvement, and related studies and analyses. This position will perform other duties as assigned. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country where the job is located.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Biosystems, or a related engineering program.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Willingness to perform technical tasks as assigned, as well as ensure the completion of additional tasks by other team members.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong organizational skills to successfully manage multiple, competing priorities.
- Ability to interface effectively with clients, team members, and other firm resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to make sound decisions/recommendations based on the evaluation and synthesis of project information and data.
- Physical and mental capability to perform all essential duties required of the position.
- Task and personnel management experience is preferred.
