About the role

Position : USC GEAR UP Tutor This is a professional instructional position responsible for the delivery and implementation of tutoring services. Tutors will work with GEAR UP cohort in one of two subject areas: math and english. Tutoring sessions will be held after school on a schedule set by the school administration. 8) Create a plan of instruction to address state standards for each session 9) Collaborate with fellow tutors and CAMP personnel for program implementation

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• At least one year of experience working with middle or high school students
• Strong ability to communicate with students and peers verbally and in writing

• status, marital status, military discharge status, or source of income.
• All newly hired CAMP employees will complete a 90-day introductory probationary period.
• During this period, the employee’s performance, attendance, reliability, professionalism, ability to collaborate, adherence to CAMP policies and procedures, and overall alignment with the expectations of the position will be evaluated.
• A formal evaluation will be conducted during or at the conclusion of the 90-day period to determine continued employment.
