About the role
Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care’s purpose is simple, to provide high quality clinical home care to medically fragile children so they can grow and flourish to their full potential. We deliver this through our commitment to our purpose, our passion for what we do, and our pride in contributing to the health and wellbeing of children and their families. The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) is a licensed graduate of an approved SLP school and is licensed by the state in which they practice. SLPs administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teach the client, family and other members of the health care team. These services are performed in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Therapy Program Supervisor or Clinical Director.
What you'll bring
- Must have graduated from an accredited SLP school and licensed in the state in which he/she currently practices.
- SLPs must possess their Certificate of Clinical Competency, but will consider CFY if a preceptor is available
- Current CPR certification
- At least one-year experience in physical, occupational or speech therapy
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and required automobile insurance.
- Travel by car to visits required.
