About the role
The EHS Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, maintaining, and continuously improving fairlife’s Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (EHS) Management System applications in alignment with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 principles. This role ensures EHS systems effectively support hazard identification, environmental aspect management, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, performance monitoring, and continual improvement across manufacturing operations. The position partners with IT, Operations, Quality, and Corporate EHS to ensure EHS enterprise platforms are secure, scalable, and integrated with business systems, enabling standardized, data-driven decision ‑ making and proactive risk management.
What you'll bring
- Practical understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management system frameworks, including risk-based thinking and continual improvement.
- Experience administering or supporting EHS management software in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of occupational safety and environmental regulatory requirements and how they translate into system controls and reporting.
- Ability to identify, document, and escalate system or process gaps that may impact worker safety, environmental compliance, or operational risk.
- Experience developing SOPs, controlled documentation, and training materials related to EHS systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
