About the role
The Scientist I is responsible for preparing and analyzing environmental samples using established scientific and EPA-approved analytical techniques. This role ensures all work is performed in full compliance with Eurofins Environment Testing America' s Quality Assurance programs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Scientist I supports accurate, timely, and high quality data generation by following validated methodologies, maintaining strict adherence to laboratory safety and quality standards, and documenting all activities according to regulatory and internal requirements. What you'll bring
- BS or BA in chemistry or related field.
- 3 years laboratory experience may substitute for a degree.
- Valid Driver's License & clean driving record
- Minimum of two weeks training at academic institution in microbiological analysis of drinking water or 80 hours on the job training
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
- Two or more years of bench top laboratory experience is a plus
- Previous production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines).
