About the role

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Site Supervisors impact the lives of youth and families through direct care, organization, supervision and well-being of participants in the sports activity. S/He assists officials and ensures quality programming and a positive experience for participants and spectators.

What you'll bring

• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum 1 year experience in assigned program area
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail required
• Demonstrated maturity, sound judgment, and possession of strong sense of responsibility
• Demonstrated leadership, dependability & flexibility in work hours
• Complete before first shift: YMCA Cause & Culture, Program-specific trainings
• CPR/AED/First Aid (provided by the YMCA)
• Follow youth boundaries policies and abuse risk management training.
• Report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and adhere to mandated abuse reporting and responsibilities.
• Complete all required abuse prevention training prior to first shift.
• Previous experience working with children preferred
