About the role

The Security Shift Supervisor manages daily security operations and personnel during an assigned shift, ensuring the safety and protection of individuals, property, and assets. This role leads a team of security officers, monitors security systems, and serves as the primary point of contact for handling security issues or emergencies. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for enforcing all policies and procedures, providing comprehensive training and mentorship to staff, and coordinating with other departments and external agencies as necessary. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to make sound judgments while remaining composed under pressure.

What you'll bring

• Leadership & Experience
• 2–3 years of experience managing a security team
• Proven ability to lead a team in complex problem-solving and emergency response.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and professional writing skills for revising and auditing reports.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of all mandatory training, including EHS and HAZMAT response.
• Proficiency in security systems (CCTV, Access Control) and Tracktik patrol software.
• Understanding of Incident Command Systems (ICS) and site-specific ERPs.
• Knowledge of SIM-T, Zinc, and ACME update protocols.
• Takes ownership of shift performance and maintains high standards for officer conduct.
• Efficiently manages labor resources and relief schedules to prevent site vulnerabilities.
