About the role

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Senior Web Quality Assurance Engineer to lead quality assurance testing for web-based products, digital platforms, and client-facing technology solutions. This role requires someone who can work independently, understand the broader purpose of QA within a technical environment, and take ownership of testing quality without needing day-to-day technical guidance. In this role, you will own the development and execution of comprehensive test plans that support the full user experience. You will work closely with managers, developers, and client-facing team members to identify, document, prioritize, and communicate layout, functional, content, legal, analytics, security-oriented, and compliance-related issues with clarity and confidence. This is a hands-on senior QA role that requires strong organization, clear documentation, professional communication, and sound judgment. You will communicate directly with clients when needed to help triage issues, clarify concerns, support resolution, and ensure that quality expectations are understood and met. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys detailed testing, understands web technologies, can evaluate issues beyond surface-level defects, and is comfortable being the primary QA resource responsible for maintaining high standards across multiple projects. This is a full-time, fully remote position open to applicants across the continental United States who are authorized to work in the U.S.

What you'll bring

  • Required Technical Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of digital quality assurance experience, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and directly related experience
  • Strong technical background and understanding of web technologies
  • Experience leading QA testing for websites, applications, or digital platforms
  • Knowledge of browser testing and the ability to identify inconsistencies across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
  • Experience writing, executing, and maintaining test plans
  • Ability to test websites and applications against requirements, acceptance criteria, and expected functionality
  • Understanding of layout, responsive design, browser behavior, accessibility considerations, and user experience principles
  • Ability to identify and document functional, layout, content, analytics, legal, security-oriented, and compliance-related issues
  • Ability to evaluate defects, determine severity, communicate impact, and recommend appropriate next steps
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related curriculum, or equivalent education and related work experience
  • Position is open to applicants residing in the continental United States
