What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree with previous collegiate experience as a player or a coach required
• CPR, AED, and First-Aid certifications will be required upon employment
• valid driver’s license required prior to employment – and maintained throughout.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the sport of women’s lacrosse and its playing rules
• ability to foster a team environment;
• Demonstrated coaching skills in sport of lacrosse
• a commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy of athletics
• a commitment, and ability, to work effectively with diverse populations;
• High integrity and ethical standards are required, along with enthusiasm for the mission of Centre College and Centre Athletics;
• Knowledge of NCAA and SAA rules and regulations, and a demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and mentor student-athletes are essential.
• Additional qualifications include communication skills that allow for the ability to teach, motivate, and counsel student-athletes effectively as well as being self-motivated, positive, energetic, eager to teach, and a willingness to travel.
• Ability to foster a team environment as well as the ability and desire to work successfully within a team-oriented athletic department is essential.
