About the role
As an Overnight Stocker at Hy-Vee, you'll be an essential part of the overnight crew that keeps our store shelves full, organized, and ready for customers every morning. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role performed primarily during overnight hours. You may encounter daily exposure to dirt, noise, equipment movement hazards, and cleaning chemicals or solvents, with occasional exposure to temperature extremes and potential electrical shock. The role involves working with and around heavy store equipment. Safety is always a priority, and training is provided to help ensure a safe and supportive work environment.
What you'll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Where applicable to the role: ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar material-handling equipment (required operator certification must be completed prior to independent use)
- Up to six months of similar or related work experience preferred
