About the role
Join our team as a Lead Water-Wastewater Engineer in Bloomington, MN where you will have the opportunity to be a technical lead, design innovator, and mentor while delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects that protect the health and well-being of the public and the environment – from our backyard in the greater Twin Cities and throughout the country. As a member of our team, you will provide end-to-end services – from planning and design through rehabilitation and construction administration – on various municipal and industrial drinking water, wastewater collection and treatment, and stormwater systems. This position is preferred to sit in our Bloomington, Minnesota office, but can also reside in our Milwaukee, Downers Grove, or Duluth offices.
What you'll bring
- Professional Engineer (PE) with 20+ years of progressive water/wastewater engineering experience, including leading the technical delivery of public and/or private conveyance, and treatment facility projects.
- Prior experience with process evaluations, cost estimating, and construction administration.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcMap, SWMM, AFT Fathom, SewerCAD, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, and/or Revit.
- Ability to travel up to 15% (including occasional overnight travel).
- Masters degree with an emphasis on water and wastewater treatment.
- Experience with conceptual and facility planning, permitting, and coordination with regulators.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and provide technical direction throughout all design phases.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate client and stakeholder relations and to secure public and private project opportunities – within the Twin Cities metro, across greater Minnesota, and throughout the upper Midwest
