About the role
The Deckhand will maintain the cleanliness of the vessel by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing the deck. Perform general seasonal maintenance on the vessel such as sanding and painting to keep it seaworthy. Participate in passenger safety drills and assist in emergency situations. The Deckhand will communicate and provide the highest degree of customer service to customers.
What you'll bring
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift.
- Must be able to reach, grasp, bend, stoop, crouch, and kneel.
- Must be able to operate a fire hose, winch, and davit.
- Must be able to throw and pull lines and use capstan and kevels to tie off the vessel.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
- Six (6) months of experience in the same or similar position preferred.
