About the role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Allergy and Asthma Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team at our Eastlake location. If you are passionate about patient care and have expertise in allergy and asthma management, we would love to hear from you. As an Allergy and Asthma NP/PA, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, performing assessments, diagnosing, and managing the treatment of patients with allergic conditions, such as allergic rhinitis, asthma, eczema, food allergy, amongst others. You will work collaboratively with our physicians, nurses, and support staff to provide comprehensive, high-quality care tailored to each patient's needs. The anticipated start date for this position is approximately 2–3 months from the date of the offer. Please note that the official start date is contingent upon completion of credentialing. What you'll bring
- Must have excellent communication skills, bedside manner, and a strong work ethic with a desire to be part of a team that is committed to caring for the whole patient.
- Master’s (MSN) or Doctorate (DNP) in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) by ANCC or another recognized board.
- Must pass a national certification exam (e.g., ANCC’s Family Nurse Practitioner exam).
- 0–3 years of NP/PA experience.
- Licensure & Certifications
- Active California NP or PA license.
- Active California RN license.
- DEA registration for prescribing medications.
- BLS certification (required)
- Must complete certification with the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
