About the role

The Surgical Navigator Medical Assistant coordinates the full continuum of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. What you'll bring

• · Current BLS certification required.
• · Knowledge of medical terminology, patient/family health education required.
• · Basic computer/data entry and electronic medical record (EMR) experience required.
• · Strong organizational skills and the ability to reprioritize work demands as needed.
• · Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• · Accurate and clear clinical documentation in Electronic Medical Record.
• · Excels in verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
