About the role
We are seeking a proactive, compassionate National Board‑Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC‑HWC) to deliver personalized, evidence‑based coaching through both virtual and in‑person visits. You will support members in achieving sustainable behavior change, navigating health resources, and meeting their wellness goals. As part of an integrated care team, you will collaborate closely with RN care managers, registered dietitians, medical providers, and behavioral health clinicians. This role requires strong clinical boundaries, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage a high‑volume coaching schedule.
What you'll bring
- National Board‑Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC‑HWC) – Required
- 2+ years of professional health coaching experience
- Weight‑management experience required
- Must be able to work Pacific Time hours (8am–6pm PT).
- S chedule is negotiable.
- Most work 4 days/week, with the first 3 weeks being 5 days/week."
- Must be comfortable completing up to 10 coaching visits per day (phone or video)
- Proven track record of patient engagement and retention
- Bilingual in Spanish – Strongly preferred.
- Certified Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) Lifestyle Coach –S trongly preferred
- Experience working with patients using GLP‑1 medications – Preferred
