About the role

We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters. RESPEC seeks a mid-level civil engineer located in our Juneau, Fairbanks, Anchorage, AK locations. The Engineer will work with a team of multi-discipline engineers/EITs in preparing professional work products, including water and wastewater utility design, site grading, stormwater management, sediment and erosion control, and Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation permitting. What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• An Alaska Professional Civil Engineer license, or ability to obtain within 1 year
• 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience with an emphasis on design
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel)
• An eye for detail and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
• position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience (support will be provided by drafting technicians and EITs).
• GIS and 5+ years of cold region experience
