AECOM is seeking a Safety, Health, and Environment Specialist to support complex Oil & Gas and Remediation projects. This role plays a critical part in driving proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance, and supporting project teams through planning, hazard analysis, and execution readiness. What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline and 4+ years of relevant experience in safety, health, and environment support for Oil & Gas or remediation projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass client-specific background and drug & alcohol screening.
- 8+ years of experience supporting Safety, Health, and Environment functions for Oil & Gas and remediation projects.
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHST.
- Experience leading HASP development and reviews for large or complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to support multidisciplinary project teams in a fast-paced environment.
