About the role

The Site Safety Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring a secure and compliant work environment at construction sites, industrial facilities, or other high-risk workplaces. This position is responsible for implementing safety protocols, assessing risks, and promoting a culture of safety among employees and contractors. The Site Safety Manager collaborates with management to develop safety programs, monitors compliance, investigates incidents, and provides training to ensure all on-site activities meet regulatory standards and prioritize the well-being of personnel. This role is located full-time on a jobsite in Peoria, IL. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

What you'll bring

  • A Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years related experience working in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
  • Familiarity with construction or industrial site operations.
  • Risk assessment and hazard identification skills.
  • Strong understanding of emergency response procedures.
  • Proficiency in safety data analysis and reporting.
