We are seeking a skilled Senior FPGA Engineer to join our innovative team at Viavi Solutions Inc. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and verification of complex digital integrated circuits for our cutting-edge network test and measurement products. This position is for our Germantown, MD, site.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in digital FPGA design and verification.
  • Proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog for RTL design.
  • Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for synthesis and simulation
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced verification methodologies (e.g., UVM, Coverage-Driven Verification).
  • Solid understanding of digital design principles, computer architecture, and memory interfaces (e.g., DDR, DMA, PCIe).
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex digital designs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
